WhatsApp is Releasing Shortcuts, Online Status, Polls on Windows Beta
After releasing the ability to speed up voice notes on WhatsApp beta for Windows.
WhatsApp is now rolling out some other new features to users on the native app: shortcuts, online status, polls, and more!
WhatsApp keeps working on improving the native Windows beta app available on the Microsoft Store.
Today, the company is rolling out a new update to certain beta testers that brings some new features.
The first one is the compatibility with the feature that lets us manage who can see when we are online.
Even if “last seen and online” shows up within our privacy settings, note that it is still not possible to manage this option.
As happens with the feature to hide our online status, it is still not possible to create a poll but at least you can view and vote for polls created by other group participants.
You can also view polls created from your phone if you already have this feature on your mobile device since as we said before, it is available to some lucky users.
